The then President of the United States (or someone in his staff) has taken the trouble to send me an email to thank me for the for discovering an internet scam originating in the US, and providing the needed information to arrest the criminals to the FBI. I didn’t think much about it, but when in a chat I mentioned this to a journalist, the fact became quite popular in the news, and I got also invited in various TV shows to talk about it.
