The word “hacker” had initially a positive connotation, identifying an enthusiast, someone curious that could discover new ways to use things. It has later taken a negative connotation, indicating a cybercriminal. When someone uses simple scripts found online to “deface” websites (replace the home page with a political or hate message) annoys me to see the term “hacker” used.
